TUNZA INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE ON THE ENVIRONMENT
ORGANISED BY THE UNITED NATIONS ENVIRONMENT PROGRAMME IN COOPERATION WITH THE UNEP COMMITTEE FOR THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Theme: “CLIMATE CHANGE: OUR CHALLENGE”
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in collaboration with the UNEP National Committee for the Republic of Korea will be organizing its Tunza International Youth Conference on the Environment, from 21 to 26 August 2009.
It will bring together 200 youth, to learn about the environment through plenary sessions, workshops and field trips.
The Conference will be in three segments, Global townhall meeting on 21 August 2009, Regional Meetings from 22 to 23 August 2009 and Conference from 24 to 26 August 2009. The daily themes include Climate change: Limiting the FootPrint, Youth and Green Jobs, Disasters and Conflicts and their Impact on the Environment and Sustainable Lifestyles.

CONFERENCIA INTERNACIONAL DE JÓVENES TUNZA SOBRE MEDIO AMBIENTE
ORGANIZADA POR EL PROGRAMA DE NACIONES UNIDAS PARA EL MEDIO AMBIENTE EN COOPERACIÓN CON EL COMITÉ NACIONAL DEL PNUMA DE LA REPÚBLICA DE COREA.

Tema: “CAMBIO CLIMÁTICO: NUESTRO DESAFÍO”

El Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA) en colaboración con el Comité Nacional del PNUMA de la República de Corea serán los organizadores de la Conferencia Internacional de la Jóvenes TUNZA sobre el Medio Ambiente, del 21 al 26 de agosto de 2009. Este evento reunirá a 200 jóvenes, para aprender sobre el medio ambiente a través de sesiones plenarias, talleres y giras de campo. La Conferencia se enfocará en tres segmentos, Asamblea Global el 21 de agosto de 2009, las reuniones regionales del 22 al 23 de agosto de 2009 y Conferencia del 24 al 26 de agosto de 2009. Los temas diarios incluyen, El Cambio Climático: La limitación de la huella ecológica, los jóvenes y los empleos verdes, desastres y conflictos y sus efectos sobre el medio ambiente y los estilos de vida sostenibles.
